Every other girl
Every other girl
She wept, she cried
But her hands were tied.
She couldn’t vent her feelings out
Her soul kept crying out loud.
She was cursed by the society,
For what, her Loyalty!?
What she faced, can never be expressed,
To escape from the truth,
Society labelled her Depressed.
One morning she woke up with hope,
Dumped the newspaper that had the horoscope,
Because today, she had the spirit to write her own.
She was strong, confident and bold,
Her eyes shone like a piece of gold
Finally, she showed what she was
And society simply forgot her FLAWS...!!
