Farewell, The Real Nostalgia
Farewell, The Real Nostalgia
I'm looking at the windowpane,
In my head, I'm going down the memory lane.
The subtle music in the background is on,
I'm gazing at the dawn.
Thinking about my school farewell,
In those memories, I dwell.
Those happy faces with tears in their eyes,
I wonder how time flies.
Dressed up, we stood tall,
It was our farewell, after all !
Our teachers looked at us and smiled,
We all forgot our worries for a while.
Those hugs and smiles and laughs,
Are now just in photographs.
One of the hardest goodbyes to say
I wish a little longer that farewell day could stay.
With mementos in our hands and tears in our eyes,
We looked at the school,
Yes, School life was indeed beautiful!
