 ELEGY POEM

DEDICATED TO MY FABEROO YORUBA ACTOR

It's a defining moment in life

When someone is lost in a moment

Life runs as a flash in front of you

Life runs like a moment turning in hue

It is a reality everyone knows

When someone close to you departs

There is a void in the heart forever

That cannot be fulfilled in time

It is a reality when one has to seek

A dark reality in bleak!

A great actor is dead

A wonderful father has bidden the world forever

A philanthropist left without staring back

A role model to others

A great downfall for those who is close to him

I am yet to feel the pain

I am yet to face the reality

You are no more has come as a shock in my life

Why did you leave me and go?

How did I not come to know?

You will be missed every moment

Rest in peace!

That heart is not beating any more

The eyes are at peace

There is nothing to worry about

As all the things have ceased

Death has taken away someone I loved so dear There is no spark in my life left

It's all a thing of a lost cheer

Death has taken it all for me

Leaving me all black and things to see..

As a memory!

Your movie has been a great help in my life

Always ready to showcase his talents

You are a rare gem in Yoruba Actors

Sir, I will never for once forget you at all

Rest in peace!

All the memories which are found

I will miss you the most in my thoughts

You were a shining star that sparkles in my life

I shall pray that wherever you are

You stay happy and blessed

May your soul rest in peace!

Rest in peace is my only prayer for you

I am sad; coz people like you were few

I won't cry, as I did promised you

I miss you so much that you have no clue

May you stay blessed in the arms of lord

May you stay in peace with GOD!

SADNESS OCCUPIED ME SOLEMNLY

WISH YOU ALOT OF STRENGTH

MURPHY AFOLABI, SUN REE OOOO
