Eighteen ,Twenty and Twenty two

When I was eighteen saw this girl actually

Felt like thunder ran down my veins probably

Looked at her and then away didn't wanted to be a creep

But feelings and emotions what can you do literally

Started humming Elvis in my heart- wise men say only fools rush in

 Before I could even start my tale saw her hand in hand with some other guy

 It felt like a newly completed apartment fell down instantly 

 While I was looking at the fragments to find mind myself buried under those debris 

Now I was twenty and looking at squirrels and birds

Saw a young lady walking alone in this breeze

I walked towards her do you mind if I join you I said simply

She smiled I'm Abhishek I said well I can't tell her name that's a mystery

This time I was singing Sinatra - love is a tender trap 

We talked and it turned out that she had interest in poetry

I recited Wordsworth and Jaun Elia to her 

She paid attention and listened keenly 

I asked could we exchange our numbers 

I would've loved to but my father is marrying me forcefully

This twenty me fell down from the ninth cloud to the ground immediately

I wished her luck that may he let you pursue your dreams 

Now this twenty two me looked at the mirror feeling like Frankenstein's Monster 

Looking for his creator and ask him to make a beloved for me 

Well I was not like the monster exactly 

I had good friends and a family

But people failed to cross the friends fence 

This time I saw this old couple holding hands sitting on a bench
