Earth's Creature
Earth's Creature
Dwelling in the land of green
There lived a creature
Embracing beauty beneath, unseen
Sort of a preacher
Brimming with revere
He surmounted the rippling river
Sheltered under the sapphire sky
Like the Great auk who croaked
But couldn't fly
Nurtured by sun beaming on the top
The jovial creature began to hop
He was none other than human
To whom the earth must summon
Why did he turn
From preacher to poacher
Why did he hunt
The earth's bountiful fund
Why did he taint
The scenery filled with nature's paint
The earth must summon
