During The Dark Winters

During The Dark Winters

1 min
266

The snow falling outside,

On her eyelids.

The warmth of the fireplace inside,

Cold gives a new meaning to what life is.

Shivering,numb little hands.

Throwing snowballs,

Cheering kids wearing warm overalls.

So much love is shared,

Red noses and cheeks.

Chills and fevers aren't rare.

They call this time cold and dry,

But this season,

It makes me appreciate who all are mine.

The cold isn't forgiving, they say,

It makes me appreciate the hidden sun ray.

During the dark winters,

Love is unfeigned,

To share it,

Love is to be seen.
