Dragon

The dragon is the fiercest creature of all

As everything it sees, it tears and mauls.

A dragon is known by its teeth, claws, and scales,

And a quick and fatal lash of its tail.

And when not hungry, it plays a game

Of setting everything in its path aflame.

When its fiery breath is engaged, it never fails

To burn through metal (armour or mail).

Neither spears nor arrows can penetrate its hide

And when you see a dragon you will have cried,

“I want my mommy and not be fried!”
