Do Not You
Do Not You
Do not you be too harsh on yourself,
More than an extent,
Which might crumble you,
Than shape you. Do not you ever,
Detest yourself, for who you are,
What you are. For, there's just one you,
Unique, incomparable.
Do not you ever try to,
Erase your being, your identity,
For some games of sham,
For meeting someone else's
Expectations from you.
Do not you criticize yourself,
Beyond what might motivate you.
Do not you ever ignore,
What your mind should say,
To your soul, for,
That's your truth as a human,
Do not you silence this truth,
For some glittering false lies,
The world shall narrate to you.
Do not you ever give up on yourself,
Come what may the predicament,
For, you were not meant to be
Forgotten, as a speck of dust,
Who surrendered to the breeze,
You have always been meant to be,
The mighty boulder,
Who shall brave the darkest tempest.
Do not you dare give up on yourself, ever.
