Divine Land..by Sudhakar Sethi
Divine Land..by Sudhakar Sethi
My nation, my motherland, sublime and divine,
With Himalayas tall, and Ganges' radiant shine.
Godavari's gentle flow, and the sea's embracing grace,
A land of enchantment, with a serene and peaceful face.
Where saints and sages walked, with feet so light and free,
Vedas and epics echoed, in harmony.
Valued scriptures guiding humanity's noble way,
A treasure trove, for all, every single blessed day.
Through ages passed, our motherland stood strong and tall,
Enduring colonial rule, where freedom's courageous call.
Two hundred years of struggle, sacrifice, and pain,
Freedom's beacon, our heroes answered, their names etched in vain.
Jallianwala's tragic tale, a scar on our storied past,
Echoes of revolution, freedom's flame that forever will last.
Tiranga, our flag, waves high and free,
A symbol of courage, unity, and liberty.
From Himalaya to Kanyakumari's shore,
Martyrs' blood was shed, brave hearts fought evermore.
Gandhi's non-cooperation movement ignited,
The spark of freedom, our nation's spirit, took majestic flight.
Our land, rich in minerals, treasures untold,
Hearts swell with pride, heads held bold.
Democracy's the soul, peace, love, and harmony entwine,
Respect for all faiths, our creed, forever divine.
With every breath, I'll love this land,
With every heartbeat, I'll take a steadfast stand.
For freedom's flame, that burns so bright and true,
I'll cherish this nation, forever anew.
