Death- An Amusement
Death- An Amusement
Close your eyes, close your eyes
As you see the nightfall upon you
Breathe, just breathe
For that is what will set you free.
Aware I am, but mostly not
The moment of my departure I see is approaching
Hard to find the light that is not before me
To be doomed or delighted is a question that arises.
For what I am about to see, cannot be shown
To be nothing and everything all at once
In this nothingness, I hear the voice of silence
And this silence is loud and talking to me.
To be one with it in a fraction of time is all I want
The last gasp, the last blink, the last breath in this realm
I want to be dissolved,
Dissolved into the emptiness that is so heavy and full.
