Dancing in the rain
Dancing in the rain
You startled me,
With the cyanish shirt I brought for you,
We were outside in mid- July,
Eating all the junkies that street corners had,
From more spicy to mild,
From less sugary to sweetened.
.
Strolling each and every alley of Bosco,
That lane where first,
We saw each other,
were stopped by the memories,
You went a little back,
To the same edge.
_
The moment you were about to say something,
It started to rain,
With a flash lightning in the cloud,
Those strong thundering in the sky,
Made me petrified,
I rushed towards you,
And flung into your arms,
“will you stick around me forever like this?”
You whispered,
To which I said forever.
-
And that day,
We danced in the rain out of the doors,
Like we used to,
But this time,
Our beats joined the drops from the heart rooms.
