Daffodils
Daffodils
I lost myself in daffodils,
Hypnotized by the colors of the sun.
And I knew that daffodils can’t bloom forever,
Nothing really can.
So I allowed myself to get lost,
The blissful moment was all I got,
And all the time in the universe had stopped,
There was no more clock, the cosmos was my host.
I finally felt at home,
United with the world I’ve known,
And everything became so simple,
I remembered things I’ve forgot.
The daffodils brought me back to the world,
And at least for a moment, I did not feel so blind or lost.
