Corona

Now all of a sudden, it is upon us,

Lock yourself inside, without a fuss, 

Be at home and do take care,

For the enemy is out, lurking there.

Talk to your friends, and loved ones far,

Pick up the phone, but not get into the car,

Write a story, poem or even a few lines,

For earlier we never had that time.

Wash your hands, and keep yourself clean,

For the enemy is unsparing and very mean,

It invades you if you do not wash it off,

Soon you might have a fever or dry cough.

Keep distance, and no handshakes,

For this is what all it takes,

But do give a smile-shining and bright,

As vibes travel at the speed of light.

We shall soon overcome this scare, 

For human spirit is indomitable and rare,

Dear Corona, do not you dare,

Bring it on, we are all here!
