Contented Peace
Contented Peace
Crumpled balls of paper flew in the air,
Surrounding the table in random spots;
The mind was blank to her despair,
But she so wanted to give it another shot!
Suddenly as if by magic the darkness lifted,
The story flashed in her mind and proceed it did;
As the light outside the window shifted,
The keyboard crackled under her writing speed!
Excruciating and exhilarating it was,
To feel the emotions scramble and surge;
The flow did not even for a moment pause,
And shortly a heart-warming tale did emerge!
She sat back relaxed and closed her eyes,
It felt good to see her faith in her talent absolved;
She could not her happiness and joy disguise,
To see the writer’s block on its own resolved!
Totally drained but now at peace,
She looked forward to her book release.
With her mind at rest, she was raring to go,
Peaceful tidings had her contentedly aglow.
