Can you name me
In your colours?
Kill me, batter me, smash me in shame
Blood-bone -flesh, all is the same.
The colour in you
Is the colour in me
The colour is not to blame.
We breathe
In anger, in hate, in fear, in pain
Or just like that for nothing better to do.
Colours contour our bodies
In the same human shape,
Paints the palette of beliefs.
Moulding narratives of our heartbeats.
A breath that starts with a coupling
A random act
Pulses till it ceases to react.
Don’t paint the death of colours
You die if you do.
All that matters is-
The five senses sing
The evanescence of our breath.
