Colour
Colour
I couldn't draw the picture
As your eyes are searching,
So removed away all those colours.
You said no to Violet,
I forget the sky of a winter evening.
You said no to Indigo,
I restricted myself sleeping under the tree of blue berry in a mid summer.
You said no to Blue,
I came back from my favourite river.
You said no to Green,
I freed the parrot from cage.
You said no to Yellow,
I shut the window before morning.
You said no to Orange,
I lost my childhood by not buying the lozenges from market.
You said no to Red,
I did not pass by the road of Devi Temple.
From the stage of VIBGYOR,
I begged for my return.
It showed me the colour of your feet,
And I colored my whole body with that.
It showed me then, the colour of your forehead,
I gave life to my picture from that.
But, I still couldn't draw the picture
As your eyes are searching.
