Clash Of Suits

There was a fight among the suits,

It turned out of one's boots,

None among fifty-two was ready to bow,

It has to be resolved, but how?

Kings and queens were called by committee,

All took the oath to holy trinity,

Jacks were charged to control the army,

But none recognized the face of enemy.

A Diamond Ace stood up to affront-

"The Spades have claimed to be eminent,

So, the rest suits united to oppose!"

Heart and Club shook heads in endorse.

Committee was impelled to ponder,

All were equal, none was superior,

Finally the Counsel decided to propound-

"Our jubilant Joker will be crowned!"
