Stubbornly I stay glad of heart

Pull me down and rise I will

Faltering, at times a little frantic

Yet always light in step, in spirit

Stay still, says life, seldom do I listen

Try I must, if I fail, a lesson given

Curious to see, restless my feet

To stay, to go, at times oh so fickle

Judge me gently childlike am I

Cautious to you, masked inside

Revealing a little, concealing more

Bearing scars, yet hoping to thrive

Always in hope, a light within

Joyous in soul, surging to be

Life is more, stretch out to see
