Childhood!

The time that automatically brings up a smile,

Those moment in our heart that will always stay versatile,

Throwing back to the memories, I can pass all my hours,

How simple lives we lived with innocent faces of ours,

Where we played with our open shoe lace,

And everyone lived a stress-free phase,

Where we loved to sing those birthdays song,

And our little tongue spelled every word wrong,

Where 'Tom and jerry' was more than a cartoon for us,

And to watch the whole episode of it, we rejected the school bus,

Where our neighbours used to submit a list of complaints to our mothers,

Because our loud noises, created a mess for others,

Where sunday actually meant the official funday,

And we lived our fullest during that whole one day,

Where when we used to hurt ourself while playing,

And leaving aside the pain, feared the most of our mother saying,

Where we treated every human around in the same way,

And adjusted in every situation wherever we stay,

Where disappointments and heartbreaks lived far somewhere,

A happy smile we carried with a life so fair,

Where the injuries we got were not fatal,

And everyday was magical, not warm battle,

Where friends around us carried different faces not the mask that lied,

Nd the hurted blisters we had, were on outside, not inside,

Somewhere deep down in our hearts, the child that is still alive,

Which when we fall stood with us, and help us to survive,

I guess I could hold you, one more time before you grow,

And tell you that I love you so that you will always know!!!!
