Ceiling

Painted on the ceiling, a forgotten dream,

The stars once so bright, now faded and dim,

The night seemed endless, with no hope in sight,

The darkness around me, swallows the light.

The future unknown, the past left behind,

The present is so daunting, I must be resigned,

The world I built once, is now so far away,

The loneliness suffocates, with nothing to say.

The dreams I had once, are now all out of reach,

My heart was lost in shadows, the sadness so deep,

The tears all fall, but leave nothing behind,

The future is uncertain, with nothing to find.
