Winter A Long Sleep

Winter A Long Sleep

1 min
177

Lifeless branches forlorn beneath the snow,

Snowflakes falling from heaven so slow.

Trees stand stark naked in harsh breeze,

Breathless leaves clinging in winters freeze.

Helical pieces of frozen water slinging in air,

White flakes of shining snow falling in pairs.

Hides hills and woods, the river, and heaven,

So cold, so damp like a polar bear's oven.

The frosted windows of cars in the street,

People's faces are covered up with sleet.

Snow falling from a roof is a splendid sight,

The majestic day fades and turns into night.
