'Call Of The Koel'
'Call Of The Koel'
Outside my window sill,
From the dense branches
Of the Mango and the Jamun tree.
A voice node exuberates,
Fills the air with tunes of melancholy.
Hither, I go to the window sill
To discover the origin.
But nothing, my eyes perceive,
Except for the echoing nodes.
Days pass by, the tunes mesmerize me, echoing through my ears,
The onset of spring,
The mild gentle breezes,
Cup my face,
Enjoying nature, to the best.
One day, waking up in my bed,
A glimpse of a ruby red spot,
Catches thy eye.
Outside the window, among the branches,
.Slowly the mystery unfolds
Ku. Ooo....ku...oooo..kuo..kuo..
Coal-black, bluish-green body,
Pale green pecked beak,
The koel - the mystery unfolds.
The music reverberates in my ears,
Even though it is heard no more,
Waiting for the song of the koel,
Happiness fills my heart even more!
