India I call it., 

A secular democratic republic.

I feel proud, an Indian I am

A true Indian.!

Children of my country,

People of my country

Find happiness, to celebrate every festival.

Diwali, Id, Christmas, Parsi new year and on goes the list.

But now, Religious harmony travels to religious intolerance.

Who is responsible?

Is it you, is it me, is it they?

Unknowingly may be we all,

Seem to carry this thought.

Thought of hatred, sown in our minds, by some..

Whom I call anti nationalists.

 

Before humanity loses it charm, 

Before every Indian gets harmed,

Let us rise,

Rise to welcome the unity in diversity.

That makes us unique!

Let's hold, let's shape the young and tender minds towards religious equality.

To grow a tree of humanity.

Let's spread the message of sanity.

Dreams of independent India I dream,
