Call for Sanity
Call for Sanity

At the crack of the dawn
Rays of the Sun, began their race
Filtering through the cracks, between the leaves.
Sun rises, day after day, come May or June
His shine benefits all and sundry.
Earth with her forests, mountains and rivers
Meant for all beings, humans draw a line
Dividing, claiming, fighting but not seeing
That the balance is upset, so does the earth.
Expressing her anguish, in ways many
Let the diverse being thrive, this call for sanity.
