Bruised Soul

Sitting in her room with swollen eyes,

All that could be heard were her desperate cries.

She couldn't believe that he left her broken,

She was not able to control her emotions.

Sitting in the balcony with his picture in one hand,

She felt that all this was planned.

She realized that she fell in the devil's trap,

And this felt like a reality's slap.

She remembered the time when they danced together,

And she felt that he was her forever.

But now she knew all his promises were a lie,

It was her fault that She fell for a bad guy.

Finally, She let her tears fall freely,

Before moving on completely.

But today she knew the heartbreak of losing someone close,

And that made her froze.

He left her alone, but with a broken heart and bruised soul.
