Broken Glass
Broken Glass
Broken glass framed in silence
On the window sill
Reflecting the sun and the moon
Jutting onto the shattered panes
Of my dreams
Sheathed with neglect remains
Mirrored shadows bleed out
All your woven lies
My heart screamed as you cackled
At my expense
Falling apart within my waning self
My soul burned with rancid bitterness
Yet staunchly embodying
Soft images of light and wisdom
Shining through each cracked part of me
In slow cascades of dried up tears
Metamorphosing into a stained masterpiece
