Blink
Blink

A strange light pierced my eye
A smell of a foreign man.
Unusual from the warm thick love
And my receptors let go- a cry.
It was wet and the liquid dried fast
In the arms of a person who I didn't know.
All I remember is the smell-
Of breath,
Unlike the stink of the elastic walls.
The clocks turned and turned -
Hugs turned to just far kisses.
The smell of my corpse poisoning the air.
The wrinkles on my skin pulling myself together.
One more year,
One more day,
One more hour,
And time lapsed in a blink of an eye.
All over at once
