Blew By You!
Blew By You!
The Jezebel dancer was down in the sultry Big easy
She was eager and weary with wishes of flavour
Waiting in the wings were the lustful betrayers
Cavorting in whispers to the one she called sister
The Sister was pleasing because of the reasons
The dancer knew nothing about the heat of the passion
But she surely had doubts in her beautiful mind
She would often find herself lingering in dark shallow moods
Over the river, the sinners were glistening for treasure
There were White Men with glitches standing in shadows
Rubbing the rocks in their well-worn places that twitch
While the laughing eyes start to shine brighter and crave
Who told the truth when the lies were for the better
Endeavours as planned out with caution and carefree threats
For the dancer who is very aware but doesn't know yet
When the penultimate mistletoe kiss to fend off in Spring
What will become of this quandary thought the Wolf
Who stayed very quiet during this time of crisis and rhyme
Bidding the time in a curious manner of dismal bliss
As the young pretender waited in jest for love and regret
