Bless my bleeding Moon

Bless my bleeding Moon

My moon bleeds for you, and the stars have gone astray. My stars I helped grow with your name against my God and now they are no more.

All of my writings were meant for you, curated for you, hunted for you, but you're not meant for me. What do I do with this love, this love so vast.....

So vengeful yet so tasteless, so unkind yet so gullible, so unheard yet so powerful.

What do I do with this pitiful love? Every plight I take to the Gods, it's your name. My prayers have now intertwined with your name and now ......there's a temple in my heart. A temple you'd never visit. You've gone beyond my prayers and my God hates me, but you more. How do I tell him your insanity cost me His love?

And as I dream of you.....only of you, my nights start bleeding. It isn't fair I suffer this much for you. So much......for my mornings to leave me to swallow the sun you built and now I'm burning again, in your rage, in your wrath and your arms and I consider this love.

It isn't fair I do this to myself. But it's the only right thing I do. All I do it, it's only for you.

Today my moon's bled again and my stars aren't there to heal my moon so I take your burnt metal you gave me one fortnight under a darkened tree, only to press on my wounds. And it does heal but it pains. It pains so much. But I'm ready to do this all over again.

I am the moon that bleeds.
