Inheritance of God's Loneliness
Inheritance of God's Loneliness
I feel much guilt as I pass this ashore,
Burrowing feelings I must restore.
And oh!
This plight seems never-ending, as a woman I must endure.
Let me tell you a story you must ignore.
At nighttime, I tell secrets to a bountiful Ganesh.
I tell him not of my fears, but much more in galore.
I tell him, I inherited his loneliness much long ago.
He's to pacify me with his humour.
He's to console me with his doe eyes.
It's to him he shall find, now not a sacred soul in me.
He's disappointed now.
It's Janmashtami today, my Krishna is so far long gone.
Far from me.
Ganesha must have snitched, his stories he tells to thee.
