Beyond The Sky
Beyond The Sky
Beyond the sky at which I stare
I know that heaven's twinkling stars waiting there
Rocky red surface
Mars, you are a red planet
No life, just craters and ice very dark and red
Blue planet, my home
Thousands of miles, but aspeck
In the vold of space.
Don't you gaze a stary sky
You will see my twinkling eye
I am as large as the sun
My light is emitted before you were born.
A wish flashes across the sky
Trailed by blinding glory
Eyes closed, breaths held,
It vanishes in a flash.
Meteor showers
Won't happen every hour
It occurs when dust from a comet
Enters the earth, our planet.
