She shouts, she fights, and she throws a tantrum
Until she gets what she wants, and she scares everyone
With a look of her eyes, they very eyes that spit venom at you
And the very mouth that sneers at you, mocking you
But behind her mask lies a totally different person
Someone afraid, and tired of fighting her emotions
Someone who just wants a chance to express herself
And not be afraid of being weak and helpless in every situation
Her secrets are kept and no one else shall know
Walls are built around her that no one can break in
Into
her lonesome heart or her broken life
But how long will this last? The strongest things break too
She lies in a corner room, crying on sleepless nights
Her body covered in bruises, arms covered in cuts
Abused by her own mother, with no one to trust
She survives on her own, holding onto the little hope left
This is the story of a bully that threatens you everyday
The truth behind her facade no one knows or cares about
Her tears are hidden; a veil of spite shields the pain underneath
She just needs someone to understand, why can’t it be you?
