Ballad Of A Lover.

Ballad Of A Lover.

Thousands of miles away

Where green hills' n misty falls rule;

There I have been once

Apart from life's schedule.

Embarking from Sahyadris

As an oasis in dry desert;

In the lap of them

On some leafy tree hangs some nest,

Trodding the mazes there

A flash pierces in me sharply;

As I stood there a shiver

Flows in my heart gently.

My eyes were watching purity

In the pink as she was roaming;

Aghast was I, my mouth wide open

Front was she who left my fists clenching,

Alone was I, as was she,

Agoning was she, as was I;

glimpsing her face I couldn't resist

Never have myself so shy,

My lips curled, my eyes started,

My body aches to lift her in my hands;

Swiftly I lurched to her

my fingers grabbed in her frock's bands.

I get prisoned in her eyes

In warmth of her arms;

In innocence of her face

In the juice of her charms.

To be short n straight

i asked her heart in barter;

then we baptise

ourselves by 'love-charter'.

I drink the heavenly nectar

From her rosy cheeks;

And in the love agony,

Over me, she softly creeps.

Swift were those moments

Tender were those movements;

light were those kisses

As quick were her sentiments.

But alas! as on all Lovers

Lady Time sheds her curse;

N so on ours as she

Demanded us to traverse.

Nature has made branches part in twigs,

Even so could swans can part;

But how can we two part

When we imbibe each other's part.

But who can withal time, devil as it turns,

And divide us in parts;

I wept bitterly, languishing for my love,

As breaking sound of running carts.

In my memory she is

Now a sea-wreath;

And myself a choked sailor

Dying of breath.

O my learners! My pen could have mistaken

But not my eyes;

My mind could move on

But how could my heart for whom it dies;

O my learners, even if you learn me,

Never learn from my love;

Bcoz it was I, not u any,

You can yearn and yearn for a lost Love.
