Balance
Balance
Balance
A word used quite frequently
But tell me
Does that mean
That pain can't be eradicated
What about the hate
And the hardships
Balance
They say one man's loss
Is another man's gain
One's suffering
Another's glory
The mighty
Feast on the weak
Is that really
Our actuality
Balance
Very few beings realize
Yet fewer comprehend
There are storms
They are mother nature's fury
Her vengeance
For taking what's not ours
Balance
The Sun
There's only one
It only rises in the East
After it sets in the West
One sphere's darkness
Other's light
The clouds
They aren't providers
They merely decree
Seize and cede
Balance
Just like existence
One soul's hope
Another's fear
There can be only one victor
But many fallen
The old depart
To pave way for the young
One man's tears
Another's elixir vitae
Yet balance is the very essence of existence
Or is it?
Alas
We are but mere subjects
In this godless realm of chaos
