Why is it that your emptiness is still irreplaceable? 

Why is it still so blank to think beyond you?

You broke me to my core and yet I am drawn to your very soul,

I want to drown in your darkness,

Because to me, it is brighter than light;

It hurts me everyday to know that you are gone,

What hurts more is the epiphany that you won't ever come back,

Although I know it is for the best,

The heart wants all that and ignores the rest...
