Another Mother's Son!

Another Mother's Son!

Two broken Men,

But at what cost

In the end,

When it's done

Who really cares

Which one lost!

When the battle's over,

The War still wages on,

Breaking more Men,

Killing more Sons!

This one was once

Completely fixed

You could actually say

He was in good nick

Before He went for victory's sake

For a cause, that held His fate

But he was only in it, for the cheque

He didn't understand the politics

He had a Wife and three lovely Kids

They won't remember what their father did

But His memory will live on

With all of the stories that we tell

Thousands just like him, blow to Hell

The Government, know as well

But they don't ever say very much

We don't really keep in touch

Sure what can they do, now that He's gone

It's not them who have to carry on

Picking up the pieces, of what went wrong

They still sing a soldiers song

And the dumb People even sing along

Pretending that there's nothing wrong

Or else they don't seem to realise

What is happening before their eyes!
