And I Fell To Be His...
And I Fell To Be His...
With a smile and concern lining his eyes,
With the earnest to talk,
The longing to hold,
With his best asset, his smile.
With the obstinacy which would often bring me to tears,
With a distorted, incomplete image.
Like the hot coffee of benediction,
Like the sunlight where darkness and fear never tread,
With the musk of happiness which perfumes every corner of me,
just a humble handyman who came to repair this sluggish soul,
Pouring love and protection in equal measure,
With the awkward sip and sideway glance,
With a unfathomable deep forest,
His way, however straight, or winding, soon or late;
Many a road and track ,
It started with dawn's first crack,
Although most sweet or bitter ,
It ends in sleep that is sweeter,
He came with the teaching,
To seize the fickle dew drop, life;
Sliding down the lotus leaf of time,
Stubborn hopes got rebuilt,
Around the gilded, brittle body-bubble
Just like the river flows to the sea ,
He came with a definite sigh of glee.
If I could fetch him something,
It won't be the stars that flickers, fall and vanish .
It won't be the moon that fade away in oblivion.
I would rather fetch him my words, for they are too scared to put before the disposal of his choice .
The truest reason of my existence these days .
