An unheard love story

She, a 7th grader, has just become a teen

exploring teenage and new feelings,

which she hadn't heard of or seen

Dancing and smiling, her stomach has butterflies

she's manifesting her life with a guy

who lives in innumerable girls' eyes

yes! He is popular

yes! He is an all-rounder

yes! He is that famous 'dude'

But no! He doesn't have that popularity attitude

Instead,

He's kind, polite and very respectful

unlike other popular guys,

who use and throw girls

that's so awful!

But one fine day, in school,

the teacher walked in and started teaching arts

unexpectedly! he sat behind her

and an unexpected conversation starts!

While they were talking 

she was lost in the depth of his eyes

she tries to look away, but she can't

no matter how much ever she tries!

His eyes were expressive

and voice was soothing

his words were music to her ears

and the flowers in her heart started blooming

This was a new feeling

but she felt it was magic

and her manifestations started again

but little did she knew, the future was tragic

The conversations were long,

and time passed by

4 long years down the line

and she knew, he was the guy!

But she was running away,

not accepting what she felt

but one word from his mouth,

was enough for her to melt

She lived in denial for quite some time

But now she realised, thats its enough

she finally accepts, from the bottom of her heart

that she is truly in love!

She said she would confess, 

and practiced in front of the mirror,

what if he didn't feel the same

that was her only big fear

But she was firm that she would confess

and that was her decision

but something unanticipated

was about to happen

One day her friend says, 

be calm and embrace yourself, 

I know he is your dream guy

but his heart beats for someone else

She felt numb and she was gonna cry

but the friend says that's not it

his heart would never beat for 'her'

cuz its gonna beat for 'him'

yes! He is gay

and yes! she was in tears

cuz she was unprepared

and this was never her fear

"Life is not fair"

is what she kept saying

but her friends consoled her saying

move on and keep going

But he was her first love

and she's never gonna get him

and that breaks her

from outside and from within

A few months passed, 

she has accepted the fact

but life had a new surprise

god knows how she's gonna react

"He's gonna leave"

said somebody

to a new country

leaving behind everybody

She wished she could stop him

wished to talk to him one last time

wished to tell him that

"I wanted you to be mine"

Life had planned an unexpected meet

in the same school where they met

looked like life completed its circle

how magical can destiny get!

That last talk was special

and looking at him she would sigh

time had decided to move fast

and they finally said 'goodbye'

'She' was happy for him

he will have a place in my heart said 'she'

'I' have experienced what true love is

cuz that 'she' is 'me'
