An Obscure Pie In The Sky
An Obscure Pie In The Sky
My tears price more than you can fathom.
As they sweep down below my chin,
While I hop the memory ride
Which you once abided by,
Each memory trickling to my veins a bundle of sorrow.
I remember the day,
You told its all over,
We were tied together,
But just by a one sided lover,
So it ended much sooner than expected,
But little could I bid a thank you,
As I cried over you leaving me,
But little did I know,
Someone wept for me daily,
Someone held the umbrella for me,
When you left me, with the raindrops,
Thundering over my temples
So can I say,
That on that day,
I found my day of love
My pie in the sky,
And my sanity.
