An elegy on my pet Dog
An elegy on my pet Dog
She was our baby, she was with us for thirteen years,
She was cute had everything going for her,
The she passed away, leaving us in tears.
The vet said it was cancer.
Thirteen years of love that will last a lifetime,
Having her around was always fun,
In return our love, is not worth a dime,
It pains my heart a lot to know
That she will never return,
Your naughtiness, used
To raise our blood pressure,
But then you would say sorry
Raise your paws in innocence,
To see that sight was a real
Pleasure,
No ego I am not a human that
Is the difference
We miss you a lot our baby,
You are somewhere near, not very far,
Always will be a part of our family,
You are always in our mind,
Wherever you are.
