All Needs Having Been Met

“Rohit, you have to cry, cry and cry all your life!”

Is what God said to me.

“But God, can I never laugh?”

I asked.

“No, because that's not your karma”

Came the reply.

“But what if I run out of tears, God?”

I asked.

“I knew you would ask.”

“What else for do you suppose I made all these oceans?”

God asked in reply.

“Any time you feel your eyes drying up,

Just go get a few bucketful of tears from the nearest ocean,” he added.

And so it has been, that from that day to this,

My eyes have never stopped flowing tears
