AGAINST ME

They were all against me,

Yes, they were my very own family members.

If I become a parent, I would treat my girl child and boy child super equally,

Not the way my parents do.

No use that I love them so much, both of them love their sons, not their only daughter.

Is it because their sons earn and I still study? Sometimes I wonder.

They were all against me.

I cannot realize the wrong in me,

Oh! Sometimes it could be mine, but all the time it wouldn't be mine,

And so the blame is on me.

Indeed the abusive words and strikes do hurt, but even my mother doesn't stand up or stay beside me,

So yes that hurts the most.

My voice changes and I howl when I fight, still, they try to stop and shut me.

They were all against me.
