Acid Attack: A Nightmare!

A face once she loved to see;

Was the one now,

 which made her feel panicky.

Where a day wouldn't pass without seeing in the mirror of hers,

She stayed in the dark now,

Trembling in fear.

Thinking What if it Recurs?

The only mistake she ever did;

Was to act brave,

And not becoming his forever enslave.

And to fight for his nuisance back,

Which sadly turned her into a victim of cowardly acid attack.

It took her days,

For her thoughts to assemble.

But she stood strong,

not letting her spirit to crumble.

She fought for justice with all her might.

Until all the wrongs were changed to right.

By Punishing him for all his wrong deeds,

She finally did succeed.

And finally,

She stood in front of the mirror.

Accepting the reality,

Which once looked like a terror.
