A Whiff Of Memory
A Whiff Of Memory
If only there could be an invention that bottled up a memory, like scent,
There would have been so less to cry for,
There would be so much less to repent,
All I had to do then was,
Sniff a spray and feel,
The emptiness- to avoid me from making same mistakes again,
The love in those memories that helped me heal,
Don't you crave for it,
Like I do?
To sometimes reminisce the moments that have passed,
And relive them too?
They come and go - my prized possessions-
Like flashes of light, fading away,
Oh! How I wish, I could have that bottle of memories,
Breathing them in every time,
Living them each and every day!!!
