A soldier protects the country's borders

Even at odd hours

They are ready to defend

If the enemy offends

A soldier is a brave heart

And has a early morning start

From their families they stay apart

To protect our country's ghats

They stay in camps

They are our nation's bright lamps

They stay in hilly ranges

And are our real heroes in danger

A real hero is a soldier

Be it army, navy or a airforce rank holder

He puts his life at risk

For his fellow countrymen whom he miss

A salute to the soldier of the nation

Who protects the country with his ammunition

His bravery, courage, discipline and action

Are his life's passion!
