A Ride In The Night

A ride in the night

When nothing seems rights

Kick start the bike

And hang on tight.

On the silent road

As toads croak

Listen to songs

That beetles sing.

Pass along the fields

Which moon does dimly lit

But hush your horn

As it breaks the melody that's borne.

Endless thoughts 

Of fabled miss

This night brought

Another reason to miss.

Oh rider don't halt

Do ride on

Though the night is long

Your moon is still far off.

Outride the night

Daybreak will be bright

Moon you seek does whisper

As the birds start to the chipper.
