A Ray of Hope
A Ray of Hope
They say it's hatred
But who cares,
about a person being betrayed?
Pain overcomes...
It has filled our lungs.
Just because of...
Discrimination!
We got a glimpse of happiness.
In our dreams...
But we know, we weren't in all the realms.
To outperform we had sworn,
But "lack of support" was a thorn.
We had to do every job,
To save every bread's loaf.
Respect is no more...
Discrimination shook us to the core.
We try, we cry...
But one day we will
For our wounds, this would be a pill.
We will be brave
And won't be naïve
Power would come,
Dignity would follow...
Our dreams won't be hollow
Strength will overcome,
not pain.
They say "There is a ray of hope!"
And we believe...
We know it takes time
But trying is not a crime...
