A Poem Of Romance
A Poem Of Romance
In the springtime, the lake is a mirror
Reflecting the beauty of the trees in bloom
With flowers of every color in full splendor
And the majestic mountain loom.
The rain falls gently, a soothing sound
As the world awakens from its winter sleep
The air is filled with the sweet scent of the ground
And all of nature begins to leap.
In the autumn, the lake takes on a golden hue
As the leaves of the trees turn red and brown
The flowers begin to wither and bid adieu
But the mountain stands tall and proud.
Through every season, the lake, the trees, the flowers
And the mountain stands in tranquil grace
A reminder of the eternal passing of hours
And the ever-changing face of time and place.
But through it all, the beauty remains
A constant in the midst of change
A reminder of the love that sustains
And the romance of nature's endless range.
The beauty of this place,
Is not just for a season,
But all throughout the year,
It's a true and timeless reason.
To love and be alive,
To feel the earth beneath,
To be surrounded by,
Such natural and peaceful wreath.
So here I'll sit and write,
With the beauty all around,
A poem of romance,
In this peaceful and serene ground.
