A Plea! Engr Dr Naila Hina
A Plea! Engr Dr Naila Hina
The night was windy
and the wind was still
On this beautiful night
When it was twelve o'clock
He was there in his village
In the swing, in front of his
House, he was lying down
He had a cigar in his hand
His eyes were searching
For something in the sky
He was smoking cigars
One after the another
Suddenly in the sky rose the
Moon of the fourteenth
He sniffed the cigar smoke
Looked at the moon carefully
He saw a face on the moon
That was my face
In the lonely, quiet, romantic
Night of the village
My face in the moon
Wandering in the valleys of sleep
There was a smile on my face
Then he could not sleep
It's five o'clock in the morning
Now. And the moon went down
The moon that was
The mirror of my face
He asked from God
For this moon again
Asked for a mirror
To see me again!
