A Motherly Desire
A Motherly Desire
If I had a mother,
She would gift me with leather,
And be my protection,
Under the weather.
If I had a mother,
She would play with me,
From dusk to dawn,
With full glee.
If I had a mother,
She would make me fine,
When I have rising temperatures,
And treat me in time.
If I had a mother,
She would be elated,
If I won a award,
And I would get rejuvenated.
I wish I had a mother,
A lovely gift of the gods above,
And grow under her shed,
With a happy smile in the starry sky.
